Inauguration of Our Latest Project: Faculty of Medicine at Sabaragamuwa University of SriLanka

We celebrate the launch of the Faculty of Medicine Project at Sabaragamuwa University in #SriLanka, a milestone that reflects our commitment to shaping the future of healthcare both locally and globally.

With extensive experience delivering complex engineering projects across 25 countries, this inauguration marks another important step in our strategic expansion throughout Asia and beyond. Drawing on our international expertise, we successfully delivered a world-class, integrated academic medical complex designed to support the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The official inauguration ceremony was attended by DAR Engineering, represented by Mr. Shahbaz Tufail, Executive Vice President (E&DS), and held in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. The event was also attended by representatives of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), led by Deputy CEO Eng. Faisal Al-Kahtani.

The Scope of Work comprised:
• 14 distinct buildings dedicated to educating and empowering future healthcare professionals
• Advanced academic facilities and state-of-the-art medical laboratories
• Sustainable infrastructure designed to support a future-ready campus
