DAR Engineering was appointed by the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for refurbishment of their existing NICUs at two hospitals in Buraidah and in Dammam. DAR Engineering's scope in these projects was to survey and understand the existing conditions of both the facilities and take up the design and engineering till providing the Ministry with the tender documents. In this redesign process not only the capacity has been enhanced but the infection control regime has also been further improved by grouping functions.
