Located 18 km south to the city of Sharourah on Al-Wadia Road. The project covers a two part extension, first two (02 Nos.) new Gas Turbine Generators (GTG) each 34MW and second one (01No.) GTG of 17MW including associated Auxiliaries and Balance of Plant (BOP).

Features:

Two units of MS5001PA heavy duty Gas Turbine - the MS5001PA is a simple-cycle, single shaft gas turbine with a combustor reverse flow combustion system.

DAR’s involvement was right from pre-bid stage to complete EPCM services which included detail design, engineering management, procurement support, site supervision, civil, structural, process, piping, mechanical, instrumentation & control and electrical disciplines.
