One of their many objectives is to prepare for the future by developing a facility to manufacture photovoltaic (PV) panels for the passive solar market. This project, a 110 megawatt, first-of-its-kind fully integrated PV production facility will be constructed at the Industrial City in Yanbu

Photovoltaic Manufacturing Facility
The project includes the construction of an approximately 25,000 square meters Manufacturing facility. The daily output of the facility, allowing for standard yield loss and assuming 24 hour production, is as follows:
Ingots 3.4 Tons, Wafers 82,555 No.
Cells 78,512 No. Modules 1,248 No. resulting in a yearly capacity of 116MW.
